Twitter, now under the ownership of X Corp., is a social media platform where users share their thoughts called tweets. Limited to 280 characters, these messages could be of any type ranging from news to personal life experience. Nowadays Twitter is improving its policies and enhancing security through various measures. However some creators can earn ad revenue through the platform, there are different ways to monetize your accounts through sponsorships, subscriptions, affiliate marketing, or even promotion of private products.

X (formerly Twitter) offers various ways for make money;

  1. Twitter partner program: This program allows users to earn money by monetizing their accounts. However, there are some requirements, including having a paid Twitter Blue subscription and having 500 followers and 5 million impressions.
  2. Sponsored Tweets: Partner with brands to promote their products or services and get paid based on your followers, engagements and retweets.
  3. Subscriptions: Make your account private and allow access to specific followers who pay you fees. This is the easiest method of all.
  4. Affiliate Marketing: Promote other companies’ products and earn a commission through sales. You get a commission per click on links you post in your profile.
  5. Tips: Allow followers to send money directly as a tip to you.

Not everyone is eligible for ad revenue sharing, but X provides a range of tools to assist creators in establishing a fan base and potentially earning income.
